Just let knoppix boot, this will put you in X, then click the Start Knoppix Openmosix server.

Choose setup

Choose the networkcard which will be used to boot your clients.

Enter your client ip-range

Choose the network modules for your clients

Deselect Textmode to boot your clients in X

Give extra options to your clients, see the knoppix cheatcodes

You're now ready to start the server
