Kandel
Q: What is it ?

A: Kandel is an arbitrary precision arbitrary resolution Mandelbrot set generator for KDE. It is designed for speed and efficiency, while placing few limits on the size or precision with which a Mandelbrot set may be calculated. Kandel also can take advantage of symmetric multiprocessor (SMP) systems or MOSIX clusters to speed up processing. Kandel will use the FPU if you set the numerical precision to 80 or below.

Q: I wanna see the pretty pictures first!

A: Go take a look here

Q: That sounds cool, now how do I demo my cluster with it?

A: Good question, first start the program (it's in Multimedia/Graphics/Kandel).

The higher you put the iterations the better your image will look and the more CPU power you'll consume

We need pretty colors, now don't we?

The higher you set the Concurrent Processes, the more threads Kandel will utilize, the more threads will migrate to your nodes.

You're now ready to generate a fractal!
